Our Philosophy: Privacy First

Cleu's core design principle is that you have full control over your personal

data. All operations with your contacts (finding duplicates, merging, deleting,

backing up) occur directly on your device.

Your contact list or any data within your contacts is never uploaded to our servers, read

by us, or shared with third parties.

Information We Collect and Access

Contact Data (Accessed with Your Permission, Not Collected)

For the app to function, access to your "Contacts" is requested via the iOS standard permission

mechanism.

This permission is used for the following features:

- Smart duplicate detection and analysis

- Merging and organizing contacts

- Secure vault management

- Bulk deletion operations

- iCloud backup (Premium)

- Real-time search and filtering

All analysis and operations occur solely on your device. No contact data is sent to our

servers.

Secure Vault and iCloud Backup (Premium Feature)

Secure Vault System:

- Deleted contacts are automatically stored in the secure vault

- One-tap restoration in case of accidental deletion

- Deletion source tracking (in-app vs. external)

- Advanced search and sorting options

- Permanent deletion option

iCloud Premium Backup:

We cannot access your iCloud data in any way. All data is protected by Apple's security

standards.

How We Use Your Information?

For App Functionality

Access to your contact data is used solely to provide the services offered by the app, such

as cleaning, merging, deleting, and restoring.

For Service Improvement

The anonymous transaction information we collect helps us understand the most used features

and make the app more useful.

Data Storage and Security

On-Device Storage

All your contact data and data in the Secure Vault (if iCloud backup is not active) are stored only

on your device. When you delete the app, this data is also permanently deleted.

User Control

The local .vcf backup files you create are stored in the app's protected area, and only you can

access, share, or delete these files.

Premium subscription and purchase information is described in the Data Access and Collection section. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Bear Code Studio does not receive or store payment card information.

Your Rights and Choices

Revoke Access Permission

You can revoke Cleu app's access to your contacts at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy &

Security > Contacts. When permission is revoked, the app will not be able to perform its

functions.

Manage Secure Vault

You can permanently delete contacts within the Secure Vault or restore them to your contact

list.

Manage iCloud Backup

As a Premium user, you can turn the iCloud backup feature on and off anytime from the app

settings.

Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or

the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make any changes, we will notify you by

changing the "Last Updated Date" on this page.
