01Colophon
How this site
was built.
A colophon is an old publishing tradition — a note at the back of a book describing how it was made. This is that, for a website.
02Typography
Three typefaces.

JetBrains Mono

Aa Bb 01 { }
For section indices, timestamps, and terminal vibes.

The nuts and bolts.
04Choices
What we chose, and why.
No component library
Every component is written from scratch. No MUI, no Chakra, no Radix. The design is the code.
No analytics
We don't track visitors. No GA, no Plausible, no Vercel analytics. The site is static and silent.
No dark mode toggle
Light theme, static, committed. Removing the toggle removed a whole class of complexity.
Real text, not escape sequences
Every em dash, curly quote, and ğ is a real Unicode character in the source. JSX children don't interpret escapes.
